Description
This large, durable Birdhouse for Purple Martins with 26 compartments is made from expanded PVC material and Poly Lumber and is designed to last a lifetime. The pole is made from fiberglass tube and a winch allows the house to be lowered for nest checks and cleaning out. Perches on top of the pole provide roosting spots for the birds, while twenty-six compartments allow plenty of nesting space. The doors slide onto the perches and fasten into place with strong magnets, allowing easy access. Everything for setup is included, except for the cement needed to secure the pole in the ground. Setup instructions included.

We wanted a Martin house for years but never made it a priority to purchase one. After looking at the options in the marketplace the Martin Mansion really stood out to us because it’s design is attractive. After installing it I can say that not only is the design beautiful, it’s also well thought-out and engineered! Accurakit’s attention to even the smaller details like the magnetic doors is only apparent after you lift the magnetic door panel off. (Whenever I take the doors off to clean the house I put them on and off several times because it’s so much fun to do that. Much better than my other birdhouses where you have to remove screws). Thinking about buying a birdhouse? Sure, they’re expensive, but it’s a great investment that makes your property worth more so you can’t go wrong. Buy it already, you won’t regret it!

The Martin Mansion is the way to go! Especially if you have fruit trees! We have a small orchard and each year the apples got more wormy even though we were spraying insecticide every 2 weeks all summer, then we started noticing that some of the apples our customers brought in for cider making didn’t have any worms even though it was obvious they were not spraying their trees! As we began asking questions and observing we noticed a pattern emerging, everyone with clean apples had purple Martin houses! So we installed a “Martin Mansion” from Accurakit and presto much cleaner apples! This year we only sprayed insecticide twice! 1 full Martin Mansion is protecting over 200 apple trees!
